Building Neighborhoods... One Home at a Time.
|
It's been a busy five years since Wood Homes, LLC set up shop in December, 2005. Over this time period, the family-run company has built dozens of new homes in the greater Bangor area.
Included among these are:
- Benjamin's Way, with twenty new homes in a beautiful, well established subdivision.
- Thibodeau Acres, a serene small town neighborhood only ten minutes from the city.
- Village Woods P.U.D. A twenty-four unit high end condominium project.
- Molly Lane, new homes added to a great existing subdivision.
- Briarwood Drive Extension, made up of many satisfied first time home buyers.
- Lyons Ledge, ten new homes tucked away on Bangor's outer edge.
- Whisper Drive, with ten homes completed... and more to come, located behind friendly Labarca Lane.
- Eastridge Estates, spacious house lots on gorgeous outer Essex street. One lot still available.
Be sure to call Maine Team Realty at 207.974.3040 for updates on the newest subdivision listings and available lots.
What really sets Wood Homes apart from the rest is the company's ability to put customers into a new home in a moderate price range. Many of their clients have
decided to build new for the same price as buying an existing home that may need renovations and upgrades. Wood Homes has a simple, friendly showroom where buyers
can add custom features and turn a house into a home.
Beautiful wood cabinets, sharp-looking modern countertops, sleek laminate flooring, durable doors and windows:
these are just some of the features that a Wood Homes customer can decide for themselves. They work with local vendors and suppliers and use American made products
to make sure as much business as possible stays in the area.
As always, the company is doing its absolute best to end each building project with satisfied customers who live in a nice, solid home at a fair price. Changes in the
housing market have slowed things down, but Wood Homes feels that it will emerge from the recession as smarter, leaner, and better equipped than ever. Continuing education
has allowed construction overseers to take a new approach toward building efficiency and sustainability. Project foreman Chris Wood has attained certification from the
following programs: Maine State Housing Authority as an energy auditor, Building Performance Institute as an energy advisor, State of Maine Fuel Board as a limited energy
auditor, Environmental Protection Agency, Radon Proficiency Program as a radon measurement professional. Chris ensures that all areas of energy efficiency and safety meet
his expectations and the customer's as well. Wood Homes continues to use progressive building methods, always improving from one day to the next. The principal members of
the company have children of their own, and hope to pass on the tradition of providing their neighbors with quality work at affordable prices.
